Dog and the den! We are truly a dog loving household with four of our own Bedlington Terriers. We therefore truly wish to cater for any proposed canine visitors but ideally as a guide lines we would prefer smallish well-behaved dogs of knee sort of hight and usually 2 dogs per visit as a max. However, this is not cast in stone as we wish to accommodate our canine companions and can provide a cage if required especially if you intend to leave you dog for a short period of time to visit the shop etc. We ask that dogs are not left alone in the den for prolonged periods as we are aware of their tendency to howl ! Thank you for your understanding if you wish to clarify any issues then please just ask we aim to accommodate your needs, especially your dogs.
Appliances: The den studio apartment has a smoke and carbon monoxide detector which are checked weekly. The kitchen has a microwave, hob and oven with external extraction. All our appliance are subjected to PAT testing regulations to ensure your safety.
Parking: The Den Studio Apartment has its own dedicated parking area with some hard standing. If you are travelling by cycle or motorcycle, we can provide secure storage in our own private garage. Please indicate if this will be required during your booking enquiry.
What facilities does the Den Studio Apartment provide? The Den Studio Apartment is fully equipped with all you will need to make your stay memorable. We also provide welcome packs and extras such as binoculars, umbrellas and even a bucket and spade! The fully equipped kitchen has a kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster cutlery, pots and pan, iron and ironing boars, oven and hob. Everything you will need. You do not need to bring towels, bedding, dish cloths etc. we provide this - any queries please ask.
Direct Booking. If you wish to book the Den Studio Apartment direct with us please feel free to do so as we offer the same T&C’s as the booking sites although we can be much less hassle. Check the booking sites for availability and notify us via the den website form with the dates that you require. We can then block the dates out for you subject to a 10% deposit which is totally refundable if you cancel your booking with 5 working days’ notice. If you can pay your deposit via an online bank transfer stating your surname to assist our admin our Santander bank account is sort code 09-01-29 account number 37884578. The outstanding balance of your full payment is expected before your arrival please.
Smoking: We operate a no-smoking policy throughout the accommodation, guests are welcome to smoke in the front garden reception area and ashtrays and night lighting is provided. Using electronic cigarettes is not permitted inside the Den Studio Apartment.
Children: The Den Studio Apartment has been designed to comfortably accommodate two adults sharing a king size bed with an optional sofa bed that is suitable for small children and we can provide a travel cot upon request. We generally accept two small children so please indicated if you would require additional bedding.
Wifi: We provide FREE WIFI for your internet access, the passphrase will be issued in your welcome pack.

Arrivals and departures:
What time is check-in? We prefer to ask guests an
approximate arrival time, so we can arrange our day to be here to welcome you.
Also if you are coming early we can give priority to clean your room. Guests
seem to prefer this too, since we do not have to be strict about check-in
times.
What time do I have to
check-out? Before 12 am: (noon). We operate
a key safe system and you will be issued with a code upon your arrival. This
will allow you to leave your key on site and return it when you leave.
Payment: The Den
Studio Apartment is priced at £85 per night with a minimum two nights stay and
can be booked at the Airbnb website or directly by using the contact form
provided.
